Congrats to the PURPLE class for winning Penny Wars! Big shout to the Yellow class for collecting $973.21 The head shaving shaving will commence at lunch March 7th between building B & C followed by advocacy meeting.

• Each class will have a bin placed in front of their wall and every penny placed into their bin counts as a positive point.

• Any other currency will count negatively towards the class total.

• Each class needs to elect one representative who is willing to save their head. All the losing class will shave their head scheduled for February 28th during lunch.

The SuperBowl is just around the corner so sign up for the change to wear a jersey or sports team t-shirt to school.
SPTA will be holding a Jersey Day fundraiser to raise money for the Physical Therapy Foundation. Each year there is an event called the Marquette challenge. The challenge is a national fundraising event that is a competition between all the PT schools in the nation to see who can raise the most money for the Foundation. The Foundation is an organization that provides grants and funding for PT research. We are working together with our Florida campus to raise money for this challenge and to support our Foundation.

Please give your $1.00 to your SPTA rep/officer and show your team pride!

Due to the unavailability of fields for kickball the SPTA will be hosting Beach BBQ. Bring your towel, sunscreen, any sporting equipment and of course your appetite! Cost will be $3 for those who want to eat.

When: 11:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

What: Food, drinks (non-alcoholic), & beach fun

Menu: Burgers, sandwich roll ups, veggies, fruit, & dessert

BROWNIES!

MMMM.. Brownies.. Cupcakes..Cookies and more! Stop by the student lounge in Bld C get a homemade baked treat. Proceeds go to the Pittsburgh Marquette Challenge to fund research in Physical Therapy!

Kickball Cancelation

Kickball is currently CANCELLED :( Due to the increased rain and flooding over the holidays no fields could be attained for out upcoming kickball event. We are looking into alternate field locations so keep Saturday, January 22nd open for some friendly class competition!

Remember the shenanigans start at 6:00 P.M. at The Cow Shed and go all night long... hope to see you all there! Drink and Jukebox sales go to the family of a child who is requires round the clock care for a TBI after being struck by a drunk driver
