San Diego Triathlon Challenge 2010

Triathlon Challenge (SDTC) is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1

mile run triathlon that will change your life! .

SDTC is more

than just a triathlon, it is a festival of inspiring events. It is fun

for the whole family and serves as a primary fundraiser for the

Challenged Athletes Foundation. Over the past seventeen years, this

event has helped raise over $24 million to support thousands of

challenged athletes.

PADRES GAME!!

July 17th the Padres will be playing the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Bring family and friends and enjoy a night downtown at Petco Park. Tickets are on sale through your student class rep for $12 with $1 going to a locald charity.

Orange Class

Congratulations to the Orange Class for winning the kickball tournament!  In the semifinal round, the Green and Yellow class battled for ten innings to determine who would move on to play the undefeated Orange Class. Finally the game had to be determined by a sudden death kick off in which the Yellow Class won. Yellow Class gave the Orange Class a run for their money, but in the end, the Orange Class was victorious. Looks like Blue Class will have their work cut out for them when they return next semester! Thanks to all who came, and especially to those to help make this event happen. It was a great time for all!

USA kickball Tournament!

The University of St. Augustine Student Physical Therapist Association invites you to play some kickball. Classes will compete against each other for bragging rights and special victory party put on by the SPTA. Another prize will go to the class with the most SPIRIT. So show up to win, but more importantly, show everyone at school whose class is the best by showing your spirit. We expect face paint, color coordinated team gear, signs and anything else to put the other classes to shame. The professors are invited and will hopefully form a team to compete as well (that is if they aren't scared). Hope to see you all there!!! (this is an alcohol free event, due to the fact that it is on city property and hosted by the SPTA. If you plan to drink that day, don't do it on the field!)

MAY 7TH SOCIAL!!!!!!

The first USA social hour will be held at  the COWSHED! Should be more than fun. Come out the first week of school, meet back up with friends after the break and mingle amongst classes.  This is a great way to spend some time with all of the students of USA and unwind. You will also be helping out a great cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of San Marcos.
